Laitís is a simple cowl worked in the round using slipped stitches (mosaic knitting) to achieve a lattice pattern with endless possibilities for colour and yarn combinations. Only one colour is worked at a time, making it quite a relaxing yet engaging knit once you get familiar with the stitch pattern. This cowl is great for using single skeins of colour-shifting or long gradient yarns, mixing and matching mini skeins and leftovers and, of course, using your own handspun to achieve fun colour effects.

You can also play around and use yarns of slightly different weights to achieve interesting effects.
