Inspired by the beautiful waters of Lake Chelan, WA, these intriguing socks feature opposing cables which set off eyelet waves, like ripples across the water. From our cabin’s front porch, we have sat and watched the waves which go down lake in the morning then up lake in the evening. Every summer I go to that cabin, stand at the edge of the dock and wait for the winds to change.

Materials:
- 400 – 425 yards of sock weight yarn. Suggested yarn: Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock Yarn (80% superwash wool, 20% nylon) 115g/425yds. Sample shown in Tourmaline
- One set of double pointed needles or two circular needles in size necessary to obtain gauge. Suggested Size: US Size 0 (2mm)
- Cable needle or extra double pointed needle
- Scrap yarn (for provisional cast-on)
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch marker
- Crochet hook (optional)

This sock pattern is written from the toe up with lots of charts and pictures included. It is available in four sizes and is suitable for both men and women.
