Lake O’Hara socks digital pattern of a top-down crew sock. The design is lace but really is more like a cable pattern. It’s lots of fun to knit and the plush cables make it warm for winter.

The yarn used is fingering weight and the construction is top down with a 2x2 rib, heel flap and wide toe.

Please note that this is a digital pattern that will be downloaded to you once payment is made. This is not a physical item being purchased.

Sample Knit:
I have made the socks using 1 skein (100g/ 3.5 oz.) of Olann Mills Meara (100% Wool) Fingering Yarn in colourway Eden. Substituting other Fingering weight yarns would be appropriate as long as you meet gauge.

Difficulty: Intermediate
You will need to know how to cast on, knit and purl stitch, decrease, and some easy lace stitches including yarnovers and knit two together (instructions provided).

Sizes: One Size - fits 8.5”/21cm circumference and stretches easily to 10”/25cm. Leg and foot lengths are easily adjustable.

This pattern has been tested.

Dimensions: Leg is 9”/23cm around and foot is 10”/25 cm long. Lengths are fully adjustable.
