This shawl had me dreaming of those summer nights sitting by the lake watching the sun go down. I wanted something that would be generous in size but still light enough that it would be perfect to carry around to restaurants with the a/c blasting! So Lakeside nights was born!

Lakeside Summer Nights is a triangle shawl
that intermixes relaxing garter sections,
perfect for TV watching, with fun, open
lacework sections.

Pattern Details: Pattern features both written and charted instructions.

Yarn: I used high contrast colors but similar colors would look beautiful as well! It would also be a great stash buster shawl by changing colors for each section! The possibilities are endless!
These are the yarns I used:
(MC) Hadlock Girls Yarn Granville
(80% SW Merino/20% Nylon; 400
yards/100 grams) in Skinny Dipping
(CC) Hadlock Girls Yarn Single (100% SW
Merino Single Ply; 400 yards/100 grams)
in Adirondack Sunset

Needle: Us size 4/3.5mm 32”/ 80cm
circular, or size needed for gauge

Gauge: Worked over garter st in MC
washed and blocked 19 sts & 40 rows =
4”/10cm. Not essential for pattern, but will
affect yardage.

Final Measurement: 62” across top by 45”
along edge.

Fun techniques we use:
Top down construction
Increasing
Decreasing
Slip stitch
Double Yarn Overs
Garter Tab cast on
