Designed for a dear old friend and named for our hometown, Lakewood is a long scarf featuring a simple textured stitch with twisted rib and twisted garter stitch edgings for a classic, polished look that is fun to knit. It can be knit in any weight yarn, and works well for variegated yarns as well as solids.

The pattern is written for worsted weight, but notes on substituting other weights are given.
