“Lallybroch Mitts”
These mitts are being released for the second half of season 7, and the first episode revolves around the ancestorial home of Jamie Fraser called Lallybroch.
I have used a stitch combination that has created a brick like pattern to the mitts, which for me is depicting the layering of ancestors living within the walls of the building and being supporterd by the stone foundations that have held the family there for centuries.
They are knitted flat and then flat seamed together, so no juggling working in the round, and are perfect for that special skein of luxury yarn you have waiting to use. You can either finish them with or without the thumb hole
They are created in DK weight yarn, the colourway shown here is also called Lallybroch.
They are suitable for a beginner upwards using just knit and purl stitches.
