The cardigan is worked with double yarn throughout (= 1 strand each quality). The front bands as well as the slit bands are worked at the same time as the fronts/back and the two fronts are joined to the back’s stitches after the slit = no side seams. There are two options for working the sleeves, either starting with the cuff and working up or picking up at the armhole and working down (= no seaming).
