Lamb Easter Egg
Perfect for re-usable Easter Egg hunts!
This pattern is 492 stitches for the main body of the egg, with 2 ears that are 36 stitches each. This pattern is written in U.S. terms. Finished egg is approximately 16.5cm/6.5 inches tall by 12cm/4.75inches wide.
Stitches included: chain, magic ring, single crochet, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease, half double crochet, half double crochet 2 stitches together, double crochet, and bobble stitch
The bobble stitch may be a bit complex for beginners, but photos and written instructions are included for how to do this stitch.
Tools needed:
Any yarn can be used. In the photos I used medium weight 4 acrylic yarn, with 2 colors: petunia (pale purple) and pink
Any crochet hook can be used. In the photos I used size G/6 4.00mm
Scissors
Needle
Fiberfill for stuffing
Embroidery floss (optional)
10mm safety eyes and 1011mm safety nose (optional)
Note that if a toy is being created for a child under the age of 3 years, please do not use safety eyes or noses.
