Lambrusco ~ a stylish raglan jersey sweater with a cable effect pattern throughout without the need of a cable needle, and colorwork loop stitch featured at yoke using an easy slipped stitch method for a unique effect to this versatile wardrobe essential that is suitable for both Kidz boys and girls.

Construction:
Worked flat; back and forth in rows. Pattern begins with sleeves worked first from cuff to armholes that are later joined to main body, (worked from bottom welt in one piece to armholes) for raglan shaping then worked together in one piece to ribbed stitched crew neckline, includes back button closure with buttonhole placement. Sleeves seamed at completion
Pattern Features:
A cable effect pattern is featured throughout using the crossed stitch method, therefore no need for a cable needle, with an easy to achieve colorwork loop stitch pattern featured at yoke, using a slipped stitch method along with classic raglan shaping through to a traditional crew neckline. Formatted with line-by-line written instructions given with option to work to measurement
Skill Level: Easy - Intermediate
Project uses basic stitches, simple color changes and minimal shaping and finishing
Knitting Needles:
Pair each of straight 3.25mm (US 3-UK/CANADIAN 10) and 2.75mm used for crew neckline (US 2-UK/CANADIAN 12)
Materials:
140 – 150 yards (45 grams) Light Worsted # 3 weight or DK including scraps for colorwork. Yarn Equivalent: 8ply UK, NZ, AU
Gauge: Using 3.25mm needles: 7 sts and 8 rows in one inch over cross stitch pattern based on materials used (Cascade 220 ® Sport)
Gauge is average and subject to yarn choices and individual tension; Gauge achieved using stated needles and yarn recommendations, adjust needle size accordingly: Too many stitches, your tension is tight, change to a larger needle size, too few stitches, your tension is loose, change to a smaller needle size
Notions: 6 Buttons size 7/16” (11mm), Darning Needle, 2 Stitch Holders
