Knitting Pattern | L’amour Hat
Detailed Pattern + Step-by-step Video Tutorial in English

A trendy hat made in a couple of evenings is possible! Of course, if it goes about our model L’AMOUR DE TROIS

• Knitted with Lanoso Alpacana yarn, made of 35% wool, 25% alpaca, 40% acrylic.
Thanks to alpaca yarn in its content, the hat is soft and pleasant to the touch, and acrylic in its turn, helps to keep the shape and saturated color after washing.

A step-by-step video lesson on knitting this hat using knitting needles with an elastic rib 33 includes all the most important stages of creating the product:
– knitting a sample for determining your knitting density
– elastic rib
– knitting the body of the hat
– joining the thread from a new skein
– decreasing, shaping the top of the head, binding off.

In the video lesson, we will knit a hat for a standard head size of 55-57 cm, but we will also add calculations for a larger size (59-60 cm) to the master class. For head circumference 54 cm or 58 cm, it will be enough to change the size of the needles to smaller or larger ones, respectively.

List of tools and supplies:

• Original yarn:
– Lanoso ALPACANA 130 m/100 gr, (35% wool, 25% alpaca, 40% acrylic). For one hat you will need ~ 130 gr.
• Or alternative yarn:
– Gazzal ALPACA AIR 50 gr/150 m, (28% polyamide, 14% superwash merino wool, 58% baby alpaca). For the hat you need 100-110 g (2-3 skeins), knitted in two threads.
– Or Drops AIR 50 g/150 m (65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool). For the hat, you need 100-110 g (2-3 skeins), knitted in two threads.
– Or Merino wool 100% 50 g/125 m. For the hat, 100-120 g is enough, knitted in two threads.
The amount of yarn is indicated taking into account the knitting of the sample.
• Basic needles – 5.5mm circular (length of needles 40 cm), auxiliary needles 4mm or 4.5mm circular (the length of the needles is 40 cm).
• A metal or plastic darning needle with a wide eye and a blunt end. • Measuring tape.
• Markers– 5 pcs.
• Scissors.
