DK (11 wpi; 8 ply; no 3: Light) weight yarn s in two colors; 120g or 275 yards for the set
Double pointed knitting needles US 6 (4 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 21 sts x 28 rows (in stockinette stitch)
