I have lived in many states in my life, but in Kentucky since 2008. It’s the longest I have lived in one place and I really love it. The upcoming Heartland Yarn Adventure Crawl (which I am a location on) had me thinking about that. There is ALSO another crawl at the exact same
time, the Bluegrass Yarn and Fiber Crawl (which I am also on) gave me the inspiration for the main color of the shawl. This shawl pattern lets me combine colors I love and let each shine. You can work out two colors you love too. The reversible shawl can be knit in one color and
then you can add a contrast color in the heart yarnover holes using surface crochet, which is just a chain stitch done through a surface. The main shawl is a one-skein fingering project and the hearts use about
10g of fingering (more if you add tassels).

Shawl instructions are included in both chart and written form. The heart outline instructions are written, but a video was made as well.
