Landscape Squares
These three square patterns each have a different stitch pattern designed to provide texture and colour relief.
The intention of these squares is that they be knit in the colours of the Australian landscape; greens, blues, oranges, yellows, browns - think grasses, trees, flora, earth, sky, water, wildflowers.
Once joined together, the blanket then captures the essence, colour and warmth of the landscape in a most beautiful way.
Construction:
Knit flat and at a loose tension, these squares employ simple lace techniques for a quick knit.
Skill Level:
Intermediate

This pattern was originally released as part of WARM: a large-scale collaborative knitting project that explored why the earth is warming and what we can do to make a positive change.
Knitters of all skill levels contributed to this large-scale piece that was exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ballarat in September 2016. It now has a permanent home in the Geelong Wool Museum.
