The Langstroth Hat is named after L.L. Langstroth’s application of bee-space. The openwork oblique pattern roughly mimics the size of Langstroth’s bee-space.

The pattern uses Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool Worsted and Stonehedge Fiber crazy held together. The Magic Knot technique suggested in the pattern allows the knitter to seamlessly switch between colors.
