Lapidarium is a unisex circular yoke jumper with stranded colourwork inspired by the geometry of gems and cut stones. It’s worked top-down in four colours (though could be knitted in only two or three if preferred); a tubular cast-on gives a stretchy edge at the neck ribbing, and short rows raise the back neck. When the yoke is complete, the sleeves are put on hold and underarm stitches are cast on for the body. When the body is finished, the sleeves are returned to the needles and underarm stitches picked up. Sleeves are shaped with decreases down to the cuff.

The pattern includes a colouring sheet to plan your placement of colours.

There are kits available for this design.
