Lapis Lazuli
The deep blue color of this rustic yarn reminded me of lapis lazuli, a semi-precious stone prized since ancient Egypt. It was said to be reminiscent of “the blue of the heavens”, and that beautiful blue hue inspired me to create a light and airy cowl with a simple lace motif, which is still warm and cozy despite being lacy, thanks to the insulating properties of pure sheep wool.
The cowl is knitted in the round, from the top ribbing to the bottom lace part.
It is an essential winter accessory that could be worn with ribbing on the top or at the bottom, and also ribbing could be folded in front or in back, so by making this one accessory, in reality, you will have three!
Pattern includes written and chart instructions. Suitable for beginners.
