Similar to the Uncle hat, Lara is worked from the top down using DK weight yarn. The ribbing section can be worked for only a few inches, as shown in the green version, or for longer and folded up, as shown in the pink version. An eyelet round is worked on both versions, optional buttons or beads are used to button up the turned up brim of the longer version.
