A pdf copy of Lara Square Crochet Pattern
This pattern is designed as a mandala style afgan square that can be used for blankets, pillows or decoration.
The pattern is fairly simple to follow and quite a quick work up.
Any fibre of yarn can be used but i personally recommend cotton or a cotton blend.
Made in DK yarn with a 3.5mm hook to produce a 10” square or a 4mm hook to produce a 12.5” square. You will need approximately 115-138m of yarn per square.
Stitches used within the pattern are (in US terms):
Mr = Magic ring
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Htc = half triple crochet
Tc = Triple crochet
Slst = slip stitch6
Chsp = chain space
St = stitch
Xdc = X dc’s in the next st
DcX = dc in next X stitches
Dcxtog = dc x st together
skx = skip x stitches
