The L’arc en chapeau, or rainbow hat in English, was created to fit comfortably on my head during winter yet not squash my beautiful curling hair. This is a quick knit and is knitted from front to back. The front part is worked flat in an entrelac pattern then joined in the round for the crown decease. The finished length of the hat is about 8 1/2 inches wide by 12 1/2 inches long.
