Larch Bark Dyed Felted Knitted Bag
This pattern is
available for free.
This handbag is knitted on a 5.5mm circular needle, all made in one piece. The base is done to and fro in stocking stitch then the body is completed in the round, bottom up with a simple fair isle pattern in repeating rounds. The flap and handle are stocking stitch continuations from the body. It is felted by a hot machine wash. All you need to finish off is to sew on one button.
It takes about 3 x 50g balls of the main colour, less than 50g of the first contrast and only 12m of the second contrast colour, so it is good tor using up leftover stash.
