Lareina begins with a fancy lace border in a classic creme. Stitches are picked up to work a Latvian Braid before continuing with a striped, slip stitch body. The creamsicle colors of Yellowstone’s silk/wool blend makes for a sumptuously soft shoulder wrap that works in all seasons.

The lace border is worked first and sts are picked up to work the Latvian braid. The body of the shawl is worked in stripes and then the remaining sts are grafted together. All slip sts are worked with the yarn to the wrong side of the work.
