The pattern for the Large Amigurumi Elephant, designed by Valerie Church, is a written pattern with picture tutorials as well.

Using Super Bulky yarn, it works up to be quite large, and incredibly snuggly!

It should be noted, that the pattern uses fleece as a key component to making the ears, nose, arms, and legs, so I would suggest not trying to use a different weight yarn with this pattern, as you would have to scale down the fleece patterns, and it would not work well (if at all).

Materials:
340 yards super bulky guage 6 yarn (One and a half skeins of Bernat blanket Dark Grey yarn)
2 yards Black, meduim weight worsted yarn
1 yard White fingering weight yarn
1 Pair black nylons (for stuffing the fiber fill into)
(2) 12 oz bags of fiber fill
8” strip of fleece (thick and high quality, is best)
