The Large Crochet Carrot Pattern includes patterns for two different sized carrots which when made with a single or double strand of worsted weight yarn produces four different sized carrots in approximate lengths of 10.5, 12.5, 15, and 17 inches long not including the green carrot tops.

Also included with the pattern are four different versions of the green carrot top, two slightly more advanced and two beginner-friendly versions that can also be mixed and matched to the various carrot sizes.

PATTERN INFORMATION

• The patterns are written in English using US crochet terminology.

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is beginner to intermediate. The carrots are a beginner-level pattern but two of the four versions of the Carrot Top are more advanced than the other two (ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!).
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase, invisible decrease, working in the back bar of the chain, and the adjustable (magic) ring.

MATERIALS NEEDED
+ To complete the Large Crochet Carrots you will need: yarn in your choice of colors (between 150-402 yds/137-368 m of worsted/aran), a size E/4 (3.5 mm), and/or G/6 (4.0mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, scissors, chopstick to help stuff.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
+ The finished Large Crochet Carrots measure approximately 10.5, 12.5, 15, and 17 inches (27, 32, 38, 43 cm) long not including the green carrot tops. Further specifics are given within the pattern for each carrot and carrot top.
