This crochet frog pattern was inspired by some very special friends that share my home office space with me. My White’s Tree Frogs. My hope for this crochet frog toy was that it gave off some of their unique character, as well as being huggable, kid safe, and of course, super cute.

To crochet your own cute froggy pal you will need the following:

200g green DK yarn
100g cream DK yarn
A few strands of black DK yarn
4.5mm crochet hook
Stitch markers
Yarn needle
Toy safe stuffing

This pattern is for the most part simple, but there are a couple of more intricate areas. The most notable are the feet, which require stitching back into a chain and slip stitching into the main body of the piece to produce the toes.
