Transform your tea pot with this sugar skull inspired pattern to celebrate the Day of the Dead.

This pattern is worked from the top down and is designed to fit a 4 - 6 cup globe shaped tea pot, with opportunities to fit the cozy as you go. A button closure has been included to make it easy to fit on to your hot pot and 3D roses can be added for extra effect.

Charts are included for both a cream and black background. Working the charts requires good knowledge of colourwork techniques. Floating multiple strands at once as well as duplicate stitch are both required.

Materials:
About 40-50g of DK wool in your choice of colours
Set of double pointed needles in a US 6 / 4mm (or size needed to obtain the correct gauge)

Crochet hook or darning needle
Button
Needle and Thread

Gauge:
26 x 32 in stockinette worked flat
