This bold, geometric throw is created using the corner to corner (c2c or corner start) stitch. Alternate solid and striped squares, joined as you go, to create a large-scale houndstooth (hound’s tooth or dogtooth) pattern.

Finished throw is 42” x 54” with a gauge of 6” x 6” for each square. For the blanket shown, you’ll need 4 skeins White #9701 and 3 skeins Dark Country Blu #9711 of Caron Simply Soft.

As this is a throw, meeting gauge is not essential. This pattern is easily customized for size and color.
