I love this large Moses Basket Design!! It will fit an 18” to 20” doll, and would be a wonderful photo prop for a small newborn! This is not to be used as a bassinet for a live baby.

How beautiful is the lace trim on this basket? You can also embellish with ribbon above the lace, and then put some tulle underneath!! This is so sweet!!

There are picture tutorials at several different stages of construction. For example, how to make the cardboard insert that is padded and covered in fabric. How to make a pinwheel bow! How to add the lace trim, and how to add the tulle. This basket is so fun to embellish!

I used two strands of Red Heart Super Saver, but careful attention to the stiffer yarns is needed. This basket is large, and if you use a soft yarn, the sides can collapse. One of my testers crocheted around nylon rope to stiffen her sides, or you can use spray starch.
