This is a pattern for a large leopard gecko.

Markings are added with fabric paint after crocheting the gecko in one solid color.

Basic understanding of crocheting in the round, inc, dec, sc, dc, simple sewing is required.
you will need:

3.75 mm hook
Red Heart comfort in chosen color (sample is white)
polyfill
24 mm safety eyes
yarn needle
scissors

Finished gecko is approximately 36 inches long with worsted weight yarn
