I love this large Moses Basket Design!! It will fit an 18” to 20” doll, and would be a wonderful photo prop for a small newborn!

Adding an applique to the side will make this design your own, or you can easily monogram using an embroidery sewing machine. I have added a picture tutorial on how to do just that!

There is also a picture tutorial on how to make the cardboard insert that is padded and covered in fabric, and a pinwheel bow! This basket is so fun to embellish!

I used two strands of Red Heart Super Saver, but careful attention to the stiffer yarns is needed. This basket is large, and if you use a soft yarn, the sides can collapse. One of my testers crocheted around nylon rope to stiffen her sides, or you can use spray starch.
