Outer Basket: Approx. 4 - 5 hours
Inside Liner: 15+ hours (incl. assembly)

A durable and customizable 34” (86.5cm) x 6” (15.24cm) project caddy that is large enough to hold your yarn/project and the items needed to complete your project.

Because the caddy only has a wire ring at the top for shaping, it can easily be collapsed for storage or packing to take on trips.

It also makes a nice basket for other uses, with or without the liner.

You will need:

Hooks: 5.50mm, 6.50mm

Yarn: (approx.)

• Heavy Duty Jute (general purpose) - 800’ (266 yards/244 meters)
• Any worsted/aran weight: approx. 500 to 600g (900 to 1000y) I used Red Heart Super-saver, colour: carrot

Other:

• 3mm plastic coated copper wire - 34 - 35”, or a metal ring with a 34” circumference
• Fabric tape (medical adhesive type)
• 4 small hooks (½” to 1”) - optional
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Tapestry Needle
• Stitch Markers -optional

Notes:
There appears to be some confusion over the final 2 rounds of the bottom and bottom liner.
Rnd 13 & 14 of the bottom outer basket, and Rnds 19 & 20 of the liner bottom are not supposed to match up. They are made this way to round out the edge of the pieces.

This pattern has been tested.
You can substitute the jute for hemp, or aran weight yarn, but results may vary. If you do substitute, you will need to work double strand (possibly triple) to get your caddy to turn out the right size and firmness (may vary).
