Large size Rainbow Blanket featuring small and large Bobbles stitches creating texture.
Pattern includes an optional variation row to make the blanket with just the large size bobbles, see listing pictures.
Rainbow body is worked around a starting chain from the centre outwards in rows, with diagonal corner section rows to square off the rainbow and finishing the blanket in rounds.
Can be made bigger by working extra rounds after squaring the Rainbow off.
Knowledge of Bobble Stitch, Extended Stitches and working Front and Back Post stitches.
Materials: Main Colour - White 920 metres (5 balls)
16 Rainbow Colours - 83 to 120 metres of each
Sample is made with Aran weight and 5mm hook but can be made with any weight and the appropriate size hook, though this will affect size.
I have made one with DK weight and 4 mm hook which measured 87 cm wide by 104 cm in length
