Materials

Red Heart Super Saver Yarn
Main Color (mc) : Black, Neon Fleck (used for body of tarantula, 2 skeins)
Accent Color A (aa) : Spring Green (Used for stripes, small amount)
Accent Color B (ab) : Yellow (Used for stripe, small amount)

Wire
14 gauge wire doubled. Creates the frame for the tarantula, making it posable. This is optional. Four packs purchased from the dollar tree.

Tape
Masking tape used to wrap the wire frame

Safety eyes
3 pairs of 6mm black
1 pair of 10mm black

Fiber Fill
Approximately 8oz, used to stuff the tarantula.

Crochet Hook
3.5mm hook

Using other materials may result in a different finished size. Be sure to check gauge. Gauge will be listed at the start of each section. The tarantula is 27 inches from leg to leg (when flat) and 13 inches from back to front.
