Knitting Pattern for a Crossbody-Bag with an eye-catching striped pattern in two sizes (Small | Large).

Structure:
The crossbody bag with a striped i-Cord pattern is made out of four identical squares. Each square is covered with contrasting i-Cord stripes. Therefore, you will regularly bind off the stitches with an i-Cord and then pick up again stitches along the i-Cord-edging. This technique creates a robust and stable fabric – perfect for a little knitting bag.
After working these 4 squares, two of them are sewn together and finished off with an applied i-Cord-edging. Then, the other two squares are added at both sides of the two middle squares creating an interesting pattern of horizontal and vertical i-Cord-stripes. Then, stitches are picked up along the upper edge of the bag and a double knitted band is added to finish off the bag. Along this band, the zipper will be sewn in the end. Finally, the strap is also worked in double knitting. Optionally, a lining can be added to the inside of the bag. A Youtube Video is guiding you through the process.
Additionally, all required knitting techniques for the bag are shown in the video: https://youtu.be/cH9B9dSjqek

The crossbody bag is worn across the chest around the waist. If you want to make individual adaptions, you should make the strap longer or shorter, according to your preferences and your body shape.
The pattern for the bag is available in two sizes: The smaller size is suitable for children between 3 and 10 years. The strap length has probably to be adjusted due to the torso length and due to the individual preferences of how to wear the bag. The larger size is perfect for adults, the strap length might be adjusted individually as well. The highlight of the design is the eye-catching striped pattern – which makes the bag interesting and exciting to knit and last but not least: You will have a super cool accessory.
