The Lása Shawl is a warm and soft scarf with a simple stockinette stitch part accentuated by a beautiful lace pattern. You can wrap it around your neck or it can caress your shoulders as well. It is worked from top down in one piece and is a simple add on that will work well with nearly every style. And if you would like to have your shawl longer, you can add more lace sections.

This shawl is knitted with 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Merino and 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair held together.

length
180cm

width
40cm in the middle

gauge
16 sts x 32 rows (10x10cm/4x4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 4,5mm (US 7) after blocking

needles
4,5mm (US 7) or required needle size to obtain gauge

materials
2 skeins of Knitting for Olive Merino (100% extra fine Merino, 50g, 250m) and 2 skeins Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25g, 225m). I used color MARCIPAN and KIT.

NOTE… The combination of these two yarns will be very nice and soft after washing. Don‘t forget to make your gauge and keep in mind, that every yarn stretches differently after washing!
