Sizes: 0-3 (6-9) 9-12 months, (2-4) 4-6 (6-8) Years

Needles: US size 6 straight needles (or you can knit back and forth on circular needle), and double pointed needles for sleeves.
Gauge : Approx. 21 sts and 28 rows= 10cm (4”) in straight stitch on size 6 US (4mm) needle.
Notions : 6 buttons for 0-6 months, 7-8 buttons for larger sizes(or any amount you want) Stitch holders,

The cardigan is a little bit “oversized” and is worked seamlessly from the top down. The cardigan is worked back and forth with raglan increases to create the top part of the cardigan. Once the top part and raglan increases are complete, you will place the sleeve stitches on stitch holders while working the rest of the body. After the body is finished, you will pick up the sleeve stitches and work the sleeves top down in the round.

You can use any yarn indicating a US size 6 (4mm) needle.
