Last Minute Christmas Baubles
This is a super cute Christmas bauble that can be knit and felted in under half an hour! I couldn’t find a felted Christmas bauble in super bulky yarn, so I designed my own. There’s two sizes: big and small, and each can be knit in one solid color, or with one or two contrast colors. The big bauble has just 16 rows, and the small bauble only 9! Knitting them up is super fast and rewarding, and trying out different color combinations is lots of fun. You might even leave the baubles unfelted for a more natural look, or give them away as a gift unfelted with instructions on how to felt them by hand in the sink - that could be a fun little craft project for the recipient!
Another idea: The small bauble can be pushed into a sort of “light bulb” shape and I think it would also look real cute to make lots of “light bulbs” for a christmas light garland.
The second picture shows felted baubles and the third picture shows unfelted baubles (but I will probably felt them).
I kept the instructions super short and clear so you can really focus on the knitting and knit these up quick, but if you have any questions, I’ll be ready to help.
