I created this hat when I realized my niece was bringing her fiance home for Christmas. It was Christmas Eve, and we hadn’t gotten him anything. It took me just around an hour to make this hat for him.

Pattern is worked with a simple ribbed band, then the rest is stockinette. You’ll need 2 colors to make the stripes as written, but the pattern could really be dressed up by making the two thin stripes a third color.
