I made this simple and easy hat for my daughter to wear during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

I used NAKO SATEN to finish faster, thus, i called it Last Minute Hat! However, you can simply adjust your yarn size or hook to get smaller version and just follow my instructions.

I suggest for newborn to 1 year old, if you use same yarn, decrease dc 12 to dc 10. However, if you use sport/dk weight, just hook with 4.00mm or 3.50mm and walla! You’ll get the smaller version (2 years below).

My instruction is very simple and easy to understand. You can play with colours and attach flowers/buttons to give more attractive look! If you like this pattern and plan to make for a boy, just don’t do the ruffle, instead, make hdc or sc without increase for a band.
