This is a quick pattern for a last-minute gift. The sample pictured is made with a bulky yarn that has a similar gauge to Cascade Ecological (I don’t actually think that Ecological comes in a variegated pattern). The yarn I used was from my stash - it had beautiful blues and purples in it but there was no label. Sorry :(

The pattern would work equally well with a solid or alternating bands of colour. I used a Brother KH-260 and used tuck stitch with punch card #1 to create spongy/cozy texture.

Start to finish, this project can be done in about an hour.
