Use any fingering weight stash to create a cowl that knits up quick using slipped stitches for texture between stockinette stripes.

Great for those wanting to learn linen stitch technique as you only work one color at a time, it’s easy to see the stitches to slip and the stitch to work.

This pattern uses the technique of moving the stitch marker between slip stitch rounds to reduce the jog that appears in changing colors at the beginning of rounds.

Remember to slip stitch with yarn in front for linen stitch!
