The snood uses approximately 240 meters of each color. Less will be used for a cowl.

Because of the colour repeat in Nako Vals, four cowls can be created (in this case, 2 pink and 2 blue) although you may need more of the solid colour to allow for extra top and bottom edge rounds.

Size can be easily manipulated by changing the number of vertical stripe repeats or number of stitches between slipped stitches.
