The cardigan is worked back and forth from the neckline to the hem. Once the yoke has been completed, the requisite stitches are stored for the sleeves which are later worked in the round from the underarm to the wrist.

NOTE: Pattern is only free in Icelandic because there was substantial errata in the original pattern. The linked errata version is the corrected pattern.

Lykkjufjöldi við munsturteikningu gerði ráð fyrir of fáum útaukningum (munar einni útaukningu) sem þýðir að eftir fyrstu útaukningu vantar 1 lykkju miðað við uppgefinn lykkjufjölda en eftir 6 útaukningar munar 6 L, þ.e. það eru 6 lykkjum of mikið á prjóninum en gefið er upp. Þar sem uppskriftin sjálf er samin út frá munsturtölunum rekur þessi villa sig í gegnum alla uppskriftina. Í þessu tilfelli má með sanni segja að “Oft veltir lítil þúfa þungu hlassi”!
