Some of my patterns have longer histories than others, Laufin is one of those patterns. I drew the first sketch-like chart in spring 2017, the same year I used it for a baby sweater for my son. That autumn I also made two adult sized sweaters, but still no pattern. Three years later I started to wonder if I should try to step out of my comfort zone and make a sweater pattern. I drew and re-drew the chart, I knitted and re-knitted and the result became the sweater Laufin. A fluffy and warm sweater for mushroom foraging, nights in front of the open fire and cold nights out camping.

I have the pattern graded up to size 6XL but have not been able to get test knitters for sizes 4XL-6XL. Hence these sizes are not included in the pattern.
