Laura is the perfect everyday sweater. It is worked seamlessly top-down. The pattern includes options to work a folded or simple neckband. Then, a series of increases are worked along the yoke until the sleeves and body are divided. The body is worked in the round to the hem. The sleeves are worked from top to bottom and there are two options, too (puffed or regular sleeves).
This is a very easy and quick knit and therefore it is suitable for beginners. However, it is important to emphasize that what you are holding in your hands now is a pattern and not a tutorial. These instructions are written assuming that you are already familiar with the terminology and conventional format of a knitting pattern.
Video tutorials to some of the techniques used in this pattern are linked in the pdf.

110 m /50 g
720 (850, 970, 1050)(1125, 1200, 1270) (1300, 1400, 1500) m
This sweater is worked in a very lightweight and soft Aran-weight yarn. If substituting, try to find a similarly ‘brushed’ or ‘blown’ yarn.
Sample is knit in size 2 with 9 cm (3.6”) of positive ease in colorway Koksgra (dark grey).
Needles
6 mm / US10 circular needle, cable length of at least 80 cm / 32” for the body (or needle size to obtain gauge) and a shorter cable for sleeves (or DPNs)
5.5 mm / US9 circular needle, cable length 80 cm / 32” for the ribbing (or needle size to obtain gauge) and a shorter cable for sleeves (or DPNs).
Gauge
16 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on larger needle in stockinette stitch after blocking.
To get the perfect fit, you must achieve gauge. However, if you can achieve the number of stitches but not the number of rows, this is your lucky day! This pattern provides measurements to be worked at length.
