Laura tote bag
Market Bags are one of my favourite practical crochet projects and I use them for everything. Whether it’s project bags, groceries or carrying things to markets, they always come in handy and they are always in use.
This bag pattern uses two strands of yarn held together at the same time, which creates a thick, dense fabric making it the perfect material for your tote bag.

Construction
The bag is worked from the bottom up, starting with base of just one round, crocheted in an oval shape with increases at each end. Once the base is complete, the height of the bag is crocheted using the V-dc stitch pattern. Four straps are then evenly placed on the front and back of the bag.
