The lighter, airier companion to Lizzie’s Market Tank, Laura’s Market Tank is a slightly cropped v-neck top with a sweet eyelet centre panel, a split hem, and grafted-on i-cord straps. It is worked flat in two pieces, then seamed together at the sides.

Just like its namesake, the character Laura from Christina Rossetti’s poem “Goblin Market,” this top is breezy and carefree. It is designed to have 4-5 inches of positive ease at the bust for a relaxed fit. Use a bulky weight yarn for a slightly tighter gauge as shown in the pink model garment, or opt for a worsted weight cotton, linen, or ribbon yarn for a lighter, more open fabric, as shown in the grey model garment.
