Laura's Poncho (AC-70)

A fashionable, short poncho with a chevron border that is repeated in the lighter weight collar. It knits up quickly whether you choose to make it in one seamless piece or in two pieces to sew together.
Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 580 (670) yards of a heavy worsted weight yarn that will knit at 4 stitches = 1”.
140 (160) yards of contrast color in a lighter worsted or DK weight for collar.
Suggested Naturally Yarns: Self-striping Vero or Vero Tweed would make up beautifully in this pattern. Use any of the 8 or 10 ply wools for the collar.
