I wanted a knitted headband to help me quell my desire to cut my bangs as I attempt to grow them out. I find if I have things to make doing my hair more fun, it helps me resist the urge to grab the scissors. So I whipped this headband up on some big needles in just an hour or two. It makes a perfect last minute gift, or can simply be a quick treat you knit for yourself. I used Tee Cakes yarn which is made from tee shirt cotton, and very much like how that cotton texture worked up, but any super bulky yarn can do the trick.
