Laurel Wreath Cable Headband
Description:
This headband design uses post-stitches to make a Laurel Wreath around the head. This design can be used as an ear warmer on cold mornings or as a decorative headband.
In general, a Laurel Wreath originated in ancient Greece and was a symbol of accomplishment, and distinction. It is worn by graduates, awardees, and victors alike.
This Laurel Wreath Headband is crocheted using stranded colorwork in either worsted weight yarn, or fingering weight yarn (the yarn, gauge, and hook size are provided for both).
The level of expertise required is about intermediate, you should have experience with increases and decreases, sc, dc, and post-stitches. Make sure to check the stitch descriptions for extended stitch information (particularly for the sc stitch).
The pattern includes a written pattern for the headband and a stitch diagram.
