This crochet pattern produces a cozy textured headband with cables that run up either side and meet with a bow-shape in the middle at the crown of the head. It is sized to fit most adult women.

The cable used in this headband resembles a laurel wreath. I designed this stitch to produce a solid fabric that doesn’t have the gapes that are typical of many textured and puff cables. This pattern uses approximately 95-110 yards of worsted weight yarn and both a 5.0mm crochet hook.

This is not a beginner pattern. Experience working with front-post stitches and puff stitches is recommended.
